    Hello Colin

I like your work. and there is one quick question.
How come your images are so sharp despite being so
low res? Can you guide me? Thanks

  • csenne20 says:

The aren’t terribly low res. They’re about 1024×768 pixels. Are you wondering more about Antialiasing settings?

  • Anne Allen says:

    Hi Colin,
Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to meet you at the SCAD reception at the Nelson and I really appreciate your comments and advice to my son. He is really looking forward to heading off to Georgia and jumping in!

    Warm regards,

  • csenne20 says:

It was a pleasure meeting you as well. I certainly wish your son the best of luck in his college experience. You and him don’t hesitate to call or email me with anything.

  • Oli says:

    Hi Colin,

I found you on here: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/scripts/web_upload/Andrew%20Oakley/UVToolsUI.jpg

..when looking for a solution for re-linking textures in 3D Max. We are having a problem where the textures need converting throughout the file.

Do you know a way to update all textures automatically? Same file name, different extension and file type. You can see how this could be a very tedious job..

    Thanks in advance,

  • nnnnathann says:

    Great ZBrush stuff Colin!

  • Eric Wruck says:

Good day to you. Say I wonder, if you have time, would you be able to write a 3ds maxscript for me? I’d like numbers to be on the screen that change in response to the movement of objects on the screen. For example, when a sphere gets bigger, the number on the screen ‘spins’ to a larger number in unison with the sphere size change.

  • Anthony says:

I am having the Bitmap app crash when attempting to run the scripot on a Win 7 64 Bit station using 3DSMAX Design 2010. Using Version 2.02.

  • Andrew says:

  • Hello there:

first: sorry for my small english,

second: I have try your program “Batch Merge”, and become allways the massage-error >–Runtime error: Feature not avatable: “setINIsetting”<. Please can you tell my, what did I make wrong, or is it, while I have Win 7/64 and max 1,2. What I will do: convert a SKP file to DS3 that i can open in max 1,2. Or do you know an oter script ?

Best regards and thank you for vour feedbeck

  • csenne20 says:

    Email sent to you Paul.

It’s because you probably need to run 3dsmax as an administrator so it can write to the “C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/” directory. Try this and let me know if it fixes it.

    Hii Colin,

First of all thank you so much for the plugin It’s just awesome.

I am getting unknown system exception error…I am using max 2011 version…It was working fine but from last 2 days its giving this error and I have installed relink bitmap v2.07 but when I select a path and press relink button my max crashes.

But few days back everything was fine.

I am looking forward to hear from you as I have been stucked in between

    Please help!!!!

  • Colin says:

I contacted Mohit via email and we solved the issue by deleting the “Relink Bitmaps.ini” file for him.

  • Jez Emin says:

    Hi Colin,

As you know, I love your Relink Bitmap script – I use it every single day 🙂

I have mentioned to you in the past that I believe that the Project Folder should be included as a default search directory.

    Any news on this ?

Also, we are going more and more towards a more up to date version of Max, 2017, any support for this version ? ( keep getting a Donate dialog box appear for 2017, whilst i don’t for my version of 2014).

    Many thanks.

    Kindest regards,

  • Amazing script i always use it since 5 years.
    five stars
    thank you
